12. I am facing problem in installation.
CRM / POS / Recruiter / ServeMe / Textile ERP / Tailor Shop: You need to download 3 files and please follow the instructions. Database used is MS Access, hence you do not need to install MS Access. ITMS: You need to download 3 files and please follow the instructions. Database used is MS SQL, hence you need to install MS SQL. If you do not have SQL, You can download Microsoft SQL Express from Microsoft Website. In case you face any problems please go to our FAQ section. If still the problem persists please contact support@bbspl.com. Please bear with us if our response comes a little late. If you are based in Delhi / NCR we can send our engineer to help you in installation on cost basis. However if you are outside Delhi / NCR / India then please hire the services of a hardware engineer and we shall guide him / her for installation. We are trying to make the installation process as easy as possible but it might take sometime. |

13. How to correct / update the database while upgrading the software?
You need to follow the steps to upgrade the software:
Step 1: Take backup of old application and database.
Step 2: Replace the old application with the new one or add the new files in the old application.
Step 3: Compare the Old Database with the New Database. Please remember you would need to upgrade the old database as the previous processed information is stored in the old database. Hence you need to compare the old database with the new database. Use the following command to check for new tables in the new database.
select table_name from newdb .information_schema.tables where table_name not in (
select Table_name from olddb .information_schema.columns
) order by 1
Step 4: Once you have updated the data tables, now you need to check if there is any difference with respect to the data columns. Use the following command:
select table_name,Column_name from newdb .information_schema.columns where column_name not in (
select Column_name from olddb .information_schema.columns
)
order by 1
